This week’s Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge (FSC02) is to make a Birthday card!
I decided to combine my Flower Soft Sprinkle Challenge (FSC02)with this week’s JustRite Challenge (JustRite Friday Challenge JRC_034 - Glitter Magic). I haven’t done a glitter/Flower Soft card in a while so I thought it would be a perfect pair of challenges to go with the birthday theme.
I colored the Flower image withe Copic markers and cut out with a Spellbinders Large Scallop die. I then added a little Sunshine Yellow Flower Soft and Eggplant Glitter Glitz to the flower center.I cut another Scallop circle the next size up in lavender and glittered the edge with Eggplant glitter. I cut a black scallop mat and layered all my pieces together with foam squares.
I added a dollop of Flower Soft glue to the centers of my buttons and sprinkled Violet Flower Soft on to the glue. I then added some more of the Eggplant glitter. The buttons take about 15 minutes to dry - just set them aside while you finish up the card and they should be ready to attach as your last step.
I stamped the sentiment in black ink and then applied the Flower Soft Peel Off stickers for gold borders (I love these stickers!).
Here is my card:
