There was a thread on Splitcoast a few days ago about some oval stamps that are being used for the shadows on the stamps from www.stampinbella.com. I thought to myself…….hmmmmmm…..can’t be too hard to make myself. So I went to my bag of extra rubber (you know you have a bag) and cut out some simple shapes. I mounted all of them on EZmount.
Here are my shapes:

And here’s a card I did using one of the shadow shapes:

Stamps: Small Sayings, Walkabella from www.stampingbella.com
Paper: Mellow Moss, Whisper White, Barely Banana
Inks: StaZon Black, Barely Banana
Accessories: Markers, Ribbon

I had a busy running around day yesterday so I didn’t get the chance to do the Color Challenge. I decided to combine it with todays Sketch Challenge. I didn’t have any Asian looking stamps so I went with the Doodles (can’t go wrong with the Doodles). I tried a new ink today and I really like it. It’s Pallette Metallics Pure Gold. It dries quickly without heat setting and the coverage seems to be good even over the red. I likey, I think I may try some of their other metallic colors.
Sets used: Doodle This, Doodle That, Amazing to Zany
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red, Pallette Metallics Pure Gold
Accessories: Gold Organdy, BB Brads
