Rock & Roll Rose
The Rock & Roll technique is an easy way to get lot of dimension from your stamps. Roses in Winter is my favorite set to use for this technique but you can use pretty much any stamp that is fairly solid.
I used Pretty in Pink and Cranberry Crisp ink on my rose.
First layer: Ink up the stamp in Pretty in Pink. Take your inked stamp and roll just the edges of the rubber in Cranberry Crisp. Stamp.
Second layer: Repeat inking directions for layer one. Stamp.
Third layer: Ink the final stamp in Cranberry Crisp. Stamp.
Finish your card:
For this finished card I used:
Stamps: Roses in Winter, Small Script
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Cranberry Crisp, Chocolate Chip
Ink: Basic Black, Pretty in Pink, Cranberry Crisp, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive

Love it, thanks for the tutorial. What color did you use for the leaves and stem? Always Artichoke?
Ooops Lisa! Old Olive for the leaves
Jeanne, your roses are always so divine. Thanks for showing step by step pics on this technique. It really does help to see it done this way. Can you share some of your favorite Rock-n-Roll color combinations (the ones that make the prettiest roses)?
TIA!
Linda
This is gorgeous! I know how to do this technique already but want to commend you on your presentation. I will be bookmarking you under my favs!
