More Rock & Rolling
Today’s challenge was to use Glossy Cardstock. I decided to do a combo of the Faux Linen and Rock & Roll techniques. I started out with Glossy Cardstock and smudged 2 colors of Chalk Ink ( French Blue & Ice Blue) on it. Then I took sandpaper and sanded first vertically and then horizontally. Basically you sand until the shine is gone and you get the texture that you want. You can use Craft or Classic ink with this technique also, I just like the soft look of the chalk inks.
I then inked up the stamp. I used More Mustard (marker) for the flower center, Old Olive (marker) for the flower stem, So Saffron for the petals (marker). Then I rolled the edges of the petals in Really Rust ink. I stamped 3 flowers fully inked and 2 without reinking.
Sets used: Petal Prints & Amazing to Zany
Here’s my card:

Oh my! Your flowers are luscious looking.
Great card - thank you for the how-to’s - I’m going to give that a try.
