The challenge today was to create a gender neutral baby card. I chose the Bundle of Joy set (mostly because I LOVE that set…..like I really needed an excuse). The giraffe was colored with reinkers and an Aquapainter.
Stamps: Bundle of Joy
Paper: Sage Shadow, Whisper White
Inks: Stazon Black, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Sage Shadow, Certainly Celery, Summer Sun
Accessories: Signo Gel pen, Sponge, SS Buttons, White GG Ribbon, Aquapainter, Spiral Punch, Dazzling Diamonds

Today’s challenge was to use Glossy Cardstock. I decided to do a combo of the Faux Linen and Rock & Roll techniques. I started out with Glossy Cardstock and smudged 2 colors of Chalk Ink ( French Blue & Ice Blue) on it. Then I took sandpaper and sanded first vertically and then horizontally. Basically you sand until the shine is gone and you get the texture that you want. You can use Craft or Classic ink with this technique also, I just like the soft look of the chalk inks.
I then inked up the stamp. I used More Mustard (marker) for the flower center, Old Olive (marker) for the flower stem, So Saffron for the petals (marker). Then I rolled the edges of the petals in Really Rust ink. I stamped 3 flowers fully inked and 2 without reinking.
