Just a note…….

Published by inkypaws under Lizzie Anne Designs

To say I’m running away for the weekend! Hubby’s going to have to take care of the homestead because I’m heading to Arlington!!! I’ll be at the Emily’s (momto3boys) Arlington, TX SCS Stamp day hanging out with 45 Splitcoasters. How fun is that?

Swap stuff packed, clothes and stuff packed, snacks packed…… I think I’m ready!

Here’s a card that I made a few days ago. Did I say before that I really like butterflies?

Stamps: Au Naturale - Lizzie Anne Designs

Paper: Sage Shadow, Close to Cocoa, Blush Blossom, Whisper White

Inks: Noir Black Palette, Cool Caribbean, Close to Cocoa, Tempting Turquoise

Accessories: Watercolor Wonder Crayons, Aquapainter, Chocolate GG Ribbon

Dog-Gone Wonderful

Published by inkypaws under Fun stuff

Today’s Ways To Use It challenge was to use Orchid Opulence in a card. In my small stash of Copic markers I had one ( V04 Lilac) that matched pretty darn close! In my quest to tackle these markers I decided to use them to color my image. The entire image (minus some last minute shading with Close to Cocoa on the dog) was done with my Copics.

I traced the rounded part (dinner plate) and cut it freehand.

I used:

B34 Manganeze for the blue background

E31 Brick Beige for the bones and the dog

V04 Lilac for the outer part of the BG (then I made the dots with my trusty Signo gel pen).

Stamps: Cat ‘n Dog - My Favorite Things - www.mftstamps.com

Paper: Orchid Opulence, Brocade Blue, Basic Black, Whisper White

Ink: Noir Black Palette, Close to Cocoa

Accessories : Black stitched GG ribbon from www.reasonableribbon.com, Signo Gel Pen, AquaPainter, rhinestone

A little birdie just told me that there’s a contest going on at My Favorite Things!!!

Check it out!!! www.mftstamps.blogspot.com

TinkerBella

Published by inkypaws under Fun stuff

I got a few Copic Markers………hehe

Now I need to learn how to use them. I’m limited in my colors so I thought this cute stamp from Stamping Bella would be good to practice with. I was a little heavy handed in spots, and I broke out my handy dandy Aquapainter and reinkers to help with the background and shadows. All in all I like the results.

After I colored with markers I added the flower centers with a Signo Gen pen. I colored the tag on the side with a marker, stamped in Palette Noir Black and then covered it with Diamond Stickles.

Paper: Confetti White

Ink: Palette Noir Black, Tempting Turquoise, Copic Markers

Accessories: Pink Organdy Ribbon, Stickles
