Make a scene
When I saw the Sketch Challenge today the first thing I thought of was to make a little scene in the panel. I hunted through my stamps and found these cute little chicks from My Favorite Things the Hoppy Easter set.
I stamped the images in Noir Black Palette ink. I colored the blue background with Copic markers and then used the Copic Colorless Blender pen to remove some of the ink. I added the white clouds by taking an Aquapainter and painting in some Whisper White Craft ink.
The chicks were colored with Copic markers. The “grass” was sponged in Certainly Celery and then I used an Old Olive marker to add the extra blades of grass. The outer edge of the background panel was sponged in Certainly Celery.
Stamps: Hoppy Spring - My Favorite Things
Paper: Confetti White, Certainly Celery, Elegant Eggplant
Ink: Noir Black Palette, Certainly Celery, Whisper White
Accessories: Markers: Assorted Copic and Old Olive, Sponge, Celery Organdy Ribbon

OMG this is beautiful!

Hi Jeanne, I just wanted to say how much I am constantly amazed at your coloring skills. I will always think of you as the queen of Prisma Color Pencils and gamsol and now I am fascinated by your coloring with the Copic Markers. There truly is not a color medium that you can’t conquer!
