Playing with Stampfest Loot

Published by inkypaws at 9:29 am under Rubbernecker Stamps

Roxie’s Sketch challenge today was the perfect layout for a couple of the new stamps that I picked up at StampFest.

I’m also trying out a new CS (Wassua Exact Matte) with the Copic markers. Not sure I like it. It’s got a slight gloss to it and I’m not totally thrilled with the results I’m getting. It’s hard to see in the pictures, but there are some areas in the colored images that have a funny sheen where the brush strokes are. I really think I’ll stick with my Georgia Pacific CS from Walmart for the Copics.

The first card is an image from Rubbernecker Stamp Company (gotta love that name). It came in a full sheet with more stained glass images. I bought a second sheet with more stained glass designs. They had many images to choose from. Lots and lots of funny images. I just had to pick up a “few” more stamps from them… hehe

Stamps: Stained Glass Butterfly - Rubbernecker Stamp Company

Paper: Wassua Exact White Matte CS, Basic Black, Lavender textured CS is from Prism Papers

Ink: Noir Black Palette, Elegant Eggplant

Accessories: Copic Markers, Ribbon from Offray, Liquid Pearls, Sponge

The second card is made with an image from Rubber Cottage . They had a bunch of interesting realistic images and backgrounds. Very pretty stuff.

Stamps: Fawn - Rubber Cottage

Paper: Wassua Exact White Matte CS, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, DP from Creative Imaginations

Ink: Noir Black Palette, Chocolate Chip

Accessories: Copic markers, 3/4″ Circle Punch, Gold Brad, Sponge

Absolutely gorgeous! When are you giving coloring lessons? I need to be there for that!

Did you buy a set of copic markers? or select individual colors? I’m thinking of putting those on my list of MUST haves.
