Brent’s Homecoming

Published by inkypaws under Fun stuff

I don’t normally share family pictures, but I’m going to today because my son’s reunion with his family was just so special. For those who didn’t catch yesterday’s post, Brent is in the Air Force and arrived home yesterday after nearly 8 months in Iraq.

Here is Brent with his daughter Kassidy, 5 (yes, she’s wearing a tiara).

A good day!

Published by inkypaws under High Hopes

We got word last night that #2 son Brent (we have 4) is back in the states after serving 8 months in Iraq. He will be arriving in Texas shortly and we will see him this afternoon. He was scheduled to be back last week and we’re just so darn happy that he is finally home.

I made this card for Brent’s daughter Kassidy (our Granddaughter) who had her birthday this week.

The image was colored with Copic markers on Georgia Pacific White CS. I cut the window from the patterned paper by cutting twice with a Giga Square punch. The window panel was popped up on foam tape. I tried to get all her favorite colors into the card, so there is orange, pink, red and purple. The cute image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps looks alot like our Kassidy.
