RBC03 Rocked & Layered

Here’s a three dimensional Rock & Rolled flower variation in the Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge colors (RBC03). Come and play!

Directions for making the flower can be found below.

Step 1: I inked the entire flower in the Versamagic Pixie Dust ink.

Step 2: With the tip of the Red Magic pad I added ink to the outer edges of the petals.

Step 3: Add Red Magic ink to the center of the flower with a Fantastix.

Huff (breathe to remoisten) on your image and stamp.

I stamped 2 medium flowers, 1 small and 1 extra small and cut them out.

The flowers were layered largest to smallest. Turning them so they didn’t line up. I added small pieces of foam tape under the 2 top layers and also to attach the assembled flower to the card.

Stamps: 408-D I Love You, 328-C Ex. Small Poppy, 329-D Small Poppy, 330-G Medium Poppy- KK Originals from Rubbernecker Stamp Co.

Paper: Georgia Pacific White, Prism Prismatics Baby Pink Dark, Herb Garden Light, Frosted Amethyst

Ink: Versamagic Pixie Dust, Red Magic, Adirondack Pitch Black, Cool Peri, Juniper

Accessories: Fantastix, Sponges, 3M Foam Dimension Tape, Black Gingham

    those flowers are true are! Very pretty! Love the blocking too! I have to say I am really loving the color combo of this challenge and can’t wait to do something!

    Really pretty flowers - great job on the card. Thanks for the great tutorial. I do have a question - the last photo shows a roll of some kind of tape - it is not mentioned in the supplies used list. What is it? And what’s it good for. I am assuming you used to to make the flower pop = that it is some kind of dimensional tape. Thanks for sharing!

    Dorothy- That’s a roll of 3M foam tape. I just cut off what I need to pop an image up.
