Animal Print Background
I thought it would be fun to show you how I make a realistic animal print background. I think you’ll be surprised at how easy it is. All images are from Rubbernecker Stamp Co.
Step 1:
Sponge randomly on Vanilla CS with Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink. I use the rounded side of a round sponge that has cut into quarters.
Step 2:
In a circular scrubbing motion apply a little more Vintage Photo ink.
Step 3:
Stamp the animal print image in Ranger Distress Black Soot over the top of the sponging.
Here’s my finished card:
Here are the products I used:
Stamps: 270-02 Leopard Print, Cub in Circle - Rubbernecker Stamp Co.
Paper: Georgia Pacific White, Vanilla, Black, Tawny Light (Prism)
Ink: Ranger Distress Black Soot, Vintage Photo
Accessories: Sponge, Black GG Ribbon, Eyelets
Copic markers used: W-1, W-2, E31, E33, E00, YG63, YG95

This is so beautiful it is scary!!
What a cool background and a great card!
Wish I had that stamp to try this with!
Wow! that really does sound easy. I tried to do your triple Faux Linen, this morning. Not so easy and mine was,…. Well… not too great. Thanks for all your tutorials and hints.
I just love this card! I’m a big animal print fan and just love how you’ve done the background!
OOOH well isn’t THAT cool!! Awesome job with the background and another awesome card!
