RBC11 and Treasure!
There are some fun changes to the Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge and….. today is Treasure Hunt day at Rubbernecker Stamp Co! For Treasure Hunt details and the first clue go —-> HERE to go the Rubbernecker Home Page.
Treasure Hunt Blog Candy is being offered by Broni and Kittie.
Today’s Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge (RBC11) is to make a card using the Paper Piecing Technique.
If you are not familiar with this technique I have two tutorials for you:
New ways to play the Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge!!!!
1. Link a card you made with my posted weekly challenge. See Above
2. Link a card you made for this week’s SCS Color Challenge:
Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla (or similar colors)
3. Link a card you made for this week’s SCS Sketch Challenge.
Link will follow when it’s posted!
4. Any combination of the above!!!
Please link your card or project back to this challenge post using at least one Rubbernecker (or Stamp Oasis or KK Originals image) to be entered in a random monthly prize drawing.
***Don’t have a blog? That’s OK. Just link your card from any online gallery!!!
***Feel free to participate in the challenge with other images, but they won’t be entered into the monthly drawing.
Check out the Rubbernecker DT’s challenge cards!
Here is my card. I used solid cardstock to Paper Piece the coffee in the mug and the stream. I was out of Sage Shadow CS (for shame!) so I used Mellow Moss instead.
Here are the products I used:
Stamps: 203-07 Small Mug, 203-02 Latte text - Rubbernecker Stamp Co
Paper: White, Vanilla, Mellow Moss, Chocolate Chip, Basic Gray Boxer
Ink: Ranger Distress Peeled Paint, Black Soot, Walnut Stain
Accessories: Ninja Waterbrush, Sponge, 3-M Foam tape

Fabulous Jeanne!!
Wow! What a remarkable card, Jeanne! I LOVE the look of that mug!!!
Wow! I love it Jeanne. Need some of that caffiene now myself.
Thanks for explaining that again Jeanne…And I love your card!!! Is that card available at the Rubbernecker website? I couldn’t find it. If it is not, do you know when it will be? Thanks for the info! ;0)
Great use of plain cardstock!
Michelle - I just looked at the site and the mug is not up yet. If you email Dave at Rubbernecker (contact info is on the Home Page) with the item # 203-07 Small Mug he’ll fix you up.
Great card! Love the coloring/shading on the mug!
