RBC14 Pop of Color

Published by inkypaws at 10:59 pm under Rubbernecker Stamps

Today (4am -9pm PST) is Tuesday Treasure Hunt day at Rubbernecker Stamp Co! For Treasure Hunt details and the first clue —-> Go HERE to go the Rubbernecker Home Page.

Treasure Hunt Blog Candy is being offered by Candy and Shelly.

Today’s Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge (RBC14) is to make a Black and White card with a pop of color! Choose whatever color you want (or even two).

See below for Rubbernecker Blogger Challenge details.

I’ll be heading out to Sherry’s today! Woo hoo! Hubby and my youngest son (who is home from the dorm for summer) will have to hold down the fort for the next couple weeks because I’m outta here!!! I’m so excited! We’ll be getting some stuff taken care of this week, then this weekend we’ll be participating in the Epilepsy walk. Early next week we’ll be on the road (with a stop to pick up Broni!!!) on the way to Florida (where we’ll meet up with Kittie and Candy!!!). We’ll all be at the Rubbernecker booth at Stampfest in Orlando. Come by and see us if you are in the area!!!

I stamped the background using an Adrirondack Paint Dauber (Pearl) on black CS. The flower was stamped on white CS with Memento Ladybug Red ink. I added some Memento Rhubarb to the area around the center and some Memento Cantelope to the petals using Fantastix. White Opal Liquid Pearls were added to the flower center.
I’m really liking this new Memento ink it dries super fast and stamps very crisp. It also works wonderfully with Copic markers.
