Sponged Grass
On yesterday’s post (here) I talked about how I make sky using a sponge. Today I’m going to tell you about how I do my sponged grass.
I do it the same way! hehe……
It’s a little different, but not different enough to run you through a bunch of pictures to describe it. I mask my image and then take my sponge with green ink (I used Peeled Paint) and sponge in my grass area. Then I take my blue (I used Broken China) and sponge in the sky. Its OK if there is a little overlap in color. If you are worried about the overlap you can always mask the areas before sponging. I choose not to worry about it.
After I have my sky and grass finished I add little lines with a couple of colors of green markers to mimic little grassy areas. I used Copic YG63 and YG95 on this card.
Here’s my card:
Here are the products that I used:
♦ Stamps: 20-017-CD What’s Moo? - Elzybells Art Stamps
♦ Paper: Georgia Pacific White, Old Olive, Baha Breeze
♦ Ink: Black Soot, Broken China, Peeled Paint - Ranger Distress Inks
♦ Accessories: Sponge, Soft Sky Ribbon, Sewing machine
♦ Copic Markers: Eoo, N1, N3, N5, YG95, YG63, R30
