I’m playing with foil tape, die cuts and acrylic paint today with my card from the MIX 42 challenge at Splitcoast.
I die cut shapes with my 657900 Sizzix Big Shot, 658716 Sizzix Bigz Die – Crescent Moon & Stars. I recycled a box for my die cutting.
After I attached my shapes to a piece of cardstock I added a layer of self adhesive foil tape.
Next I used a stylus and a leftover piece of my box to smooth the foil tightly around my shapes.
I added some black acrylic paint around the shapes and then wiped off the excess before the paint dried.
Next I added some paint to the background (blue, purple and pink). I dabbed paint on and then followed with a paper towel dabbing some off.
I added a little yellow paint to the moon.
I splattered some white paint over everything. I added the panel to my card and then added a phrase from Impression Obsession (WP308 Real Life Sentiments).
