Today was a great day! Carolyn King (Cammie) and Sharon Coleman (Stampscout) came over to play with Sherry and I. Lots of laughs and stamping. I knew Sherry and Sharon would be buds and I’m so glad they had a chance to meet.
We had all kinds of inks, Prismacolor pencils, and the Copics out and working in between a whole lot of giggling!
Here’s a picture of the 4 of us!

Here’s one of the cards I made today. I used the new DaisyD’s Rub-on stitch tape and Basic Grey (yummy!) Figgy Pudding paper that I got from Lindsey at Jacksonbelle Embellishments. Fun stuff!

Were back from the Pampered Stampers retreat in Cincy!!! We had so much fun! It was such a great bunch of girls. Dang, the girls just knock my socks off with the beautiful swap cards & 3-D items. Fabulous!
Here’s a couple pictures we took (well, Kittie took them and I stole them from her camera
).
The first picture is Sherry, me & Dawn (DawnL) with a wonderful cake that Amber (Bambi64) made for us. All our birthday’s are in October. Is she the sweetest?

The next picture is Jen and Kittie (Kittie747). They are just so darn cute!

On to todays JBWW Challenge!!!
Sherry Cheever is our host today. You can check out her blog for more Cincy pictures!
Here’s your challenge ……………alter and little notebook, journal or whatever you have on hand. Make it simple or fancy, what ever strikes your fancy!
Here’s mine!
This was my 3-D Swap for the Cincy gathering. It started out as a square notebook from Target. I covered the front and back with patterned paper (using Tacky Tape) then sponged the edges with Close to Cocoa. I stamped the Jolie’s Fleurs flowers on the front and back randomly. I then stamped one flower on each page in the notebook. I attached the ribbon to the front using Tacky Tape. I left enough hanging loose on the inside to use as a bookmark. The flower on the front was colored with Copic Markers, cut out and then attached to the front with Foam tape. Easy project!
Stamps: Jolies Fleurs - Lizzie Anne Designs
Paper: Dasher - Basic Grey
Ink: Noir Black Palette, Purely Pomegranate, Close to Cocoa
Accessories: Copic Markers, Target notebook, Ribbon from May Arts

Hi everyone!
We’ve been having a great time here in Florida. Yesterday went shopping at a fun stamp store (The Stamping Station), had lunch at a yummy restrant and then went and met up with KITTIE!!! She’s super sweet (as I expected she would be!!!). We had so much fun gabbing with her!
Today Kim, Sherry and I are doing some packing up and then we’re heading to Daytona Beach for a few hours.
I’ve been having some connecting to the internet problems so I’m going to cheat a little and refer you to Sherry’s blog for pictures:
