I have a card over on the CardMaker Blog today!
Here’s a look at the makings of my project… Click HERE to see the finished card (and how I made it). My card uses some sneak peeks of soon to be released stamps from Impression Obsession, Color Burst from Ken Oliver Crafts and my Mini MISTI from My Sweet Petunia.
Here’s a look at one of the steps…
New Impression Obsession Challenge – Hello Sunshine!!
To enter the challenge go to the Impression Obsession blog (all the details are there!). A random challenge card will be selected to showcase on the IO blog AND you can to enter to win a $25 gift certificate to IO just by playing!
My project uses E13446 Father Silhouette and CL583 You Are along with my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia) and Color Burst (Fuchsia & Lemon Yellow ) from Ken Oliver Crafts.
I started out with a Color Burst background and then stamped my image using my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia).
Next I stamped my sentiment.
I masked around the stamped image with repositional tape and sponged the inside with orange ink.
I finished my card by adding a doodled frame.
This month’s challenge at Ken Oliver Crafts is Vacation. I went with a road trip theme for my project.
My card uses Color Burst (Sepia & Alizarin Crimson), Ken Oliver Crafts Clear stamps Covered Bridges and my Mini MISTI.
After my color burst was completely dry I used my Mini MISTI to stamp the car. This is on textured watercolor paper and it took a few stampings to get a nice image (thank you Mini MISTI!).
Next I added the sentiment. I finished my card off by rounding the corners and adding a button.
