More from HYCCT!

My today are from the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges on Splitcoast. So many challenges all month long! My cards for today all use stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions.

Are you playing along with us? If not, you’re missing out on the chance to lift the spirits of women battling breast cancer at MD Anderson, and also on more than $5000 in prizes from your favorite crafty companies.

So what are you waiting for? Get to stamping!

My first card is for the challenge I’m hosting (HYCCT1428 Pretty Pink Balloons). The challenge is to use pink balloons. I used the  Taylored Expressions Up Up & Away Cutting Plate along with a sentiment from Taylored Expressions In & Out Birthday.

My next card is for the HYCCT1419  Challenge. The challenge was to use embossing paste. I die cut the Taylored Expressions Seasonal Trees Cutting plate and used it for a stencil for my embossing paste. Then after it dried I went back and watercolored the open spaces. Sentiment is from Sparkle & CheerHYCCT1419 Christmas Jeanne_Streiff

My next card is for the HYCCT1427  Challenge. The challenge is to make a thank you card using 2 mediums (I used embossing paste & acrylic paint). I used the same die cut for this card from the Seasonal Trees Cutting plate   (the embossing paste left a neat texture) and added dabs of acrylic paint over the top to make fall trees. Sentiment is from Sketched Blooms.

Sparkle & Shine!

Hello! Hope you are having a good week!

I wanted to share some cards I made for the Hope You Can Cling To Challenges at Splitcoast using the Sparkle & Cheer stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. It’s always fun to see a stamp set used in more than one way… so here are three different ways for you.

The background for all my cards was made from one sheet of watercolor paper. I tapped ink pads (Ranger Distress Rusty Hinge & Vintage Photo & Memento Bahama Blue) onto a craft sheet, misted with water and then pressed my watercolor paper into the wet ink. I let my paper dry and then repeated the process. I splattered a little pink and white paint and smeared on just a teeny bit of Stickles before the last layer dried. HYCCT1420 Sparkle Jeanne_Streiff

On this card  I smeared a little bit of Gesso behind my die cut.HYCCT1421 Christmas Jeanne_Streiff
