Love You

Happy Monday!

Here’s a one layer  card using 1/4″ red and 1/4″ white decorative tapes from Hobby Tape, stamps from Impression Obsession and my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia).HT Heart Jeanne_Streiff

I stamped my images (WP704 Daisies & Hearts) and then I used the grid on my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia) stamp positioning tool to lay out my tape in straight lines.  HT 1 Heart Jeanne_Streiff

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I have two crayon resist technique cards to share today using stamps from Simply Stamps!

I Love You A Jeanne_Streiff

I started with watercolor paper and then drew some simple hearts onto the paper with a white crayon. I used watercolors to create a wash over the hearts. Once dry I wiped the excess paint from the hearts with a damp paper towel.

When my background was completely dry I stamped the I LOVE YOU Hashtag Rubber Stamp  from Simply Stamps onto my cards with black ink (Raven Detail ink from Brutus Monroe).

MIX211 With Love

Happy Friday!

I’m hosting the Mix-Ability challenge on Splitcoast this week! The challenge is to use a heart in your project along with at least two mediums. I used Stamps from Impression Obsession, inks, watercolor and a little white acrylic paint on my project.  You can see the challenge HERE.With Love Jeanne_Streiff

I started by stamping my flower (). I used my Mini MISTI (My Sweet Petunia) to stamp the image repeatedly adding inks to the stamp until I got a good blend. Did you notice the new My Sweet Petunia Creative Corners? I love them!!! 1 With Love Jeanne_Streiff

Next I added my heart () and some loose watercoloring around the flower. I stamped my heart directly on top of my flower. I added some details to the flower with white acrylic paint. 2 With Love Jeanne_Streiff

I stamped the sentiment with black ink. The  My Sweet Petunia Creative Corners came in especially handy here because My paper was a little warped from the watercoloring It held the center down very firmly so I could stamp my sentiment without magnets sticking together.. nice!

After I was done with this step I misted the back side of the paper lightly with water and let it dry with a couple heavy books on top to get it smooth again before assembling my card. 3 With Love Jeanne_Streiff

AA Great Day
