Here are a couple Summery one layer cards using the Chillin’ & Grillin’ set from Lizzie Anne Designs.

I sponged a simple sky and sand on this card.

Sometimes simple is a very good thing. Here’s a card with minimal layers, no matting, stitching or patterned papers. It all comes down to having a great focal point ( in this case the yummy bird’s nest from Lizzie Anne Designs).
