DTGD Friday!

Published by inkypaws under Rubbernecker Stamps

I’m home!!!

My dogs were thrilled to see me yesterday, unfortunately they were sopping wet (it was stormy) so it was a messy reunion. Gotta love them muddy or not…lol

Here are two of my cards for the Dare to Get Dirty Challenges today on SCS.

My first card uses the Just Leaves and Red Flower, and a phrase from the Hey Lady! Word Panel stamps from my collection at Rubbernecker. I used VersaMagic chalk inks directly onto patterned paper for a soft look.

Ink: Hint of Pesto, Sage, Milled Mauve - VersaMagic, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain - Ranger Distress Inks

This card was colored with Copic markers. The background and the white panel were both scored (using a Mini Scor-it) tpo give it a little texture. The Holy Moly phrase is from the Say What You Feel! Word Panel.

Dare to Get Dirty ‘08

Published by inkypaws under Rubbernecker Stamps

The Dirty Dozen and Dirty Dozen Alumni are posting challenges all week on SCS!

Check out the Dare to Get Dirty ‘08 Challenges on SCS!!!

Here are my DTGD cards for today!

My first card-

The background on this card was created by using white cardstock , two Mini Misters and a paintbrush with plain water. One Mini Mister had Gold Perfect Pearls (1/4 teaspoon), a dropper full of Aged Mohogany Distress Ink and water. The other had Perfect Pearl Perfect Pearls (1/4 teaspoon), a dropper full of Worn Lipstick Distress Ink and water.

I spritzed the Mini Misters onto my white paper in a random pattern. Dry with a heat tool and repeat until you get the colors you want. After your background is dry and a few splotches of plain water with a paintbrush to get the big splotchy areas.
