Every day in the month of February, the design team members from My Sweet Petunia, The Ton and So Suzy Stamps will create a card using the Mirror Image Stamp. There will be blog posts, videos and a ton of instructions on how we all use the Mirror Image Stamp.
We will have the entire list with links to everyone’s post on the So Suzy Stamps blog so you can come back and see the inspiration on a daily basis.
It’s my turn today!
I used my Mirror Image Stamp, my Mini MISTI , the Rooting for You stamp set from Lawn Fawn and chalk inks from Brutus Monroe for my project.
I decided I wanted to add a soft shadow to the super cute radish (Lawn Fawn – Rooting for You ) and I went hmmm… I wonder if chalk inks would work.
I watercolored a very simple background and then used a post-it note to mask the area where the radish would be in the ground.
I stamped the radish and leaves onto the the Mirror Image Stamp. I removed the post-it note and positioned my paper over the stamp to transfer the ink.
Next stamped my leaves and face.
I added my sentiment and a little extra watercolored “dirt” around the radish. Every radish need a little dirt, right?

Today’s hop list:
Happy Valentine’s Day!
I have two crayon resist technique cards to share today using stamps from Simply Stamps!
I started with watercolor paper and then drew some simple hearts onto the paper with a white crayon. I used watercolors to create a wash over the hearts. Once dry I wiped the excess paint from the hearts with a damp paper towel.
When my background was completely dry I stamped the I LOVE YOU Hashtag Rubber Stamp from Simply Stamps onto my cards with black ink (Raven Detail ink from Brutus Monroe).
Hope you enjoyed this quick and easy technique.
