I just had to use the rooster from On The Farm for my project! Get Well Jeanne_Streiff

I sponged a background (Broken China, Candied Apple, and Seedless Preserves) and then used the Heart Swirl stencil over the top with white acrylic paint and Seedless Preserves ink.1 Get Well Jeanne_Streiff

Next I cut a quick masked and splattered some thinned white paint and then stamped the Grid stamp from 3171-LG Ringtones with Broken China ink.2 Get Well Jeanne_Streiff

Eeek! Rooster! I love him! I sponged the cute rooster from On The Farm and then used it as a guide to paint my rooster with watercolors.3 Get Well Jeanne_Streiff

I finished with sponging in some of the extra elements from On The Farm and the I added my DIE382-D Get Well Soon die cut. 4 Get Well Jeanne_Streiff

StencilGirl Earth Safe/Ann Butler Earth Day Blog Hop!

Happy Earth Day! The girls from StencilGirl Products and Earth Safe Finishes are playing together today!

I used S110 Tall Birds and M027 Journal Textures stencils and Chalk It Up Paints in Rock Candy, Raspberry Tart, Snickerdoodle and Pear Compote for my brush storage project. The plain wooden bucket was from Hobby Lobby (in the unfinished wood section).

I painted the bucket with Snickerdoodle and then used the oh so cute S110 Tall Birds stencil around the whole bucket. Once the paint was dry I outlined with a fine black pen.
