Inky Paws

I decided to head up to Dallas with hubby for a few days last week. I got the chance to visit with my friends Bev Gerard (texasgrammy) and Sharon Coleman (stampscout) while I was up there. We got caught in a pretty good snowstorm and I thought for a while we were going to get to have a slumber party!

Carrot Patch

The carrots were stamped in a row on White CS. I tore Cocoa CS to make the “dirt”.

Easter Bunny

The bunny was colored with Copic markers. I punched the scallop circle and layered it on top of the bunny.

Every month the SCS Dirty Dozen and Dirty Dozen Alumni get together to do a fun challenge. Here’s this months:

Required Element: Spring Color Combo - whatever feels like Spring to you!

Restricted Element: NO CuttleBug/Big Shot/Wizard or similar diecut/embossing machines.

I chose to use a Whipper Snapper stamp set from my friend Anna Wight AKA SweetMissDaisy on SCS.

The layout is from a Sketch Challenge from Anna’s blog.

The image was stamped with Ranger Distress Black Soot inka nd colored with Copic markers. The image panel was sponged with Ranger Distress Faded Jeans and Peeled paint. The background squares were sponged with Vintage Photo ink.
